Web Development Process

Phase 0. Pre-Contract Exploration
Before quoting, or writing a proposal, we naturally need a basic understanding of what you want to achieve, how you want to achieve it, and what you are prepared to pay for it. This often involves a bit of in-depth probing, as well as exploring of alternative approaches with you.
Phase I. Investigation & Strategy
We start by listening to your ideas. What do you want to project? What's your value proposition? Where do you want to go? How will you get there? We equip ourselves with the information to build the site that answers your needs by asking questions about who you are: researching your competitors, audience and industry; and carefully analyzing your brand and goals. In this stage we typically:
• analyze your company, industry and competitors
• gather your identity assets
• determine technical objectives
• determine content sources
• perform a usability study
• plan the site architecture
• create a site map
• prepare the final schedule and estimate
Phase II. Creation
The goal of Phase 2 is to eliminate defects and provide great site reliability. This includes developing a navigation system, analyzing user mobility and collaborating with you to perfect user services like content and interactivity. In this phase we develop the final design concept, create programming specifications, and conduct client reviews.
Phase III. Production
Production is the marriage of form & function. We work on the graphical interface design and programming to produce a sweet-smelling interactive web site, optimized for high search engine rankings and ease-of-use. We use expertly written code and the best-performing compression software to ensure the smallest possible file sizes.
Phase IV. Test
We test your site for compatibility with all major browsers and screen resolutions. The HTML, graphics, JavaScript, CGI, forms, etc. will be seamlessly integrated and display properly on a wide range of computer systems and browser software.
Phase V. Final Integration & Marketing
This is the moment that we've all been eagerly waiting for. The final stage includes uploading of the site onto the host server, thorough proofing and debugging, and then integration of the site into existing and new marketing campaigns.
Phase VI. Future Growth
Most good web sites have new content updated regularly. Visitors expect change. Consequently, your site will need to change and grow over time. To make sure that your web site remains inviting to your visitors, our team can maintain and upgrade your web site as needed.
